Cartilage Earrings Piercing Jewelry Information

Remove Ball Back Cartilage

• Hold the front of the earring and twist to remove
• Place your hand underneath in case the ball drops

Remove Flat Back Cartilage

• Hold the Post (back of the earring) with one hand
• Gently twist the front of the earring with the other hand
• Once it is loose, gently pull it away from the post

Remove Push In Cartilage

• Pull apart both ends to remove. If it is too tight, slightly twist as you pull out the front of it

Cartilage Information

• Cartilage earrings can become loose by touching them and sleeping on them
• Remember to tighten them every few days
• The standard size of a cartilage piercing is 16 Gauge (1.2mm); but sometimes 18 Gauge (1mm) is used
